Andy Leung's inspiration for Shanghui Haoting came from the vitality and hope symbolized by plants. His vision was to create an indoor garden, integrating greenery and natural light into the space. This aspiration led to the incorporation of large trees and light fixtures, which not only add a touch of nature but also enhance the overall ambiance of the space.
Shanghui Haoting is located in downtown Shanghai and is a work of issi design. The metropolitan style of the sales center, combined with an elegant ivory color scheme, gives the space a sophisticated look. The regular patterns running through the space further enhance its rhythm, making it stand out from other designs.
The realization of this design involved the use of modern fashion elements to decorate the interior space. The harmonious mix of different levels of ivory tones, combined with different styles and colors, creates a modern, elegant space temperament at the heart of the sales building. The design delivers commercial value through innovative design, and the main materials used include Gray Moire Marble, Walnut, Corrugated Acrylic, and Crystal.
The design also faced challenges, the most significant being the lack of light. To overcome this, a large crystal lamp was installed on the ceiling, and floor-to-ceiling glass and ivory marble were used to mix natural light and lighting, brightening the space. The addition of trees in the room added vitality and made the space appear larger.
Shanghui Haoting is more than just a sales center; it's a space that encourages interaction and communication. The gorgeous pillar texture and elegant marble space represent a stylish and elegant temperament. The repeated rectangular wall subtly hides the light at both ends, making the light flash, bringing a beautiful rhythm to the space. Customers can sit around a tree and increase interpersonal communication, thereby creating commercial value for the space.
In conclusion, Shanghui Haoting is a shining example of how innovative design can transform a space. Andy Leung's vision of integrating nature and modern aesthetics has resulted in a design that is not only visually stunning but also functional and engaging. It's no wonder that this design was awarded the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020.
